Originally studying and graduating with a Batchelor of Arts degree from the University of Liverpool. Jessica has always retained a lifelong passion for the arts. As a postgraduate, the desire for a more creative outlook instigated her journey in Silversmithing. She was welcomed into one of the oldest and finest Silversmiths in the country as an intern, and under the guidance of David Hart, she has learnt through making and mentoring of talent, the traditional craft of Silversmithing.
“I owe so much to the kindness and the generosity of all those at Harts Silversmith who have taken the time, and who have had the patience to share their knowledge, and keep these traditions alive. – its is inspiring to think that the Guild of Handicraft under George Hart, who was at the spearhead of the Arts and Crafts movement, is still a family run business after all this time – but they are still here, simply by the quality of what they do and the truth that lies behind the ethos of that great movement”.
All of Jessica pieces are designed and made, by hand in the Cotswolds.
All pieces are fully hallmarked with Jessica’s makers mark and assay office sterling silver marks.
Great emphasis is placed not only on the quality and the individuality of each piece that is produced but equally importantly, on the personal and friendly service that exists through out the design, ordering and buying process.
The workshop and showroom is a place where Jessica is very happy to welcome clients to consult, discuss designs and show examples of what is possible. It is very important that all stages of the process are as enjoyable as owning the final piece.
