Below are the Terms and Conditions relating to Greenwich Winter Time Festival at The Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich from 1st to 31st December 2017. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
All visitors (except children aged 3 years and under) must have their own valid ticket to gain entry to the Greenwich Winter Time site at the Old Royal Naval College.
All purchased tickets will be sent as an e-ticket containing a unique barcode, unless purchased on site. Tickets may be printed or shown on a mobile device upon entry.
Access to the Ice Rink and ‘Visit Father Christmas’ requires an additional ticket, which will need to be produced to gain entry to these attractions. Failure to produce a ticket when requested may result in you being removed from the relevant attraction and/or the event.
Cancellation, Exchanges & Refunds
Authorised ticket agents are unable to exchange Greenwich Winter Time tickets once purchased. Please make sure you have chosen the correct date and time slot at the time of booking.
Any unlawful reselling of tickets (or attempting to do so) is prohibited and may result in the cancellation of the ticket without any refund or compensation. Any tickets bought from unauthorised agents or third parties are not valid and admission will not be permitted.
Tickets may not be used for any advertising, competitions, contests, sweepstakes, promotions, or used, sold or given away in conjunction with other products or services without the express written permission of the event organisers.
Inevitably, bad weather can affect any open-air event. If we have to cancel the event as it is unsafe to proceed, visitors will be offered an alternative date and time slot. No refunds will be offered simply if the weather is inclement. Any decision to cancel the event will be taken at 9am on the day of the event.
If the event is cancelled due to weather, and visitors are not able to attend an alternative night offered, then a refund will be considered on a case by case basis. Where refunds are given, only the face value of the Ticket shall be refunded. No refunds or compensation will be given in respect of any other losses or expenditure e.g. travel, car parking, accommodation.
Disabled ticket holders are entitled to one free ticket for an essential personal assistant/carer. Proof of eligibility may be required on entry to the event.
Wheelchair Access & Accessible Facilities will be available on site.

The Rink Manager reserves the right to remove those deemed as a risk to the safety of others.
‘Visit Father Christmas’ is available for children aged up to 10 years old. Each child requires a valid ticket which can be purchased with a standard entry ticket (except children aged 3 and under who only require a ‘Visit Father Christmas’ ticket). The performance lasts 15 minutes and will be ‘an audience’ with Father Christmas with up to 39 other children. Please note, this is not a one on one meeting. Please arrive 15 minutes before your start time.
Tickets for the Victorian Carousel and any family rides will be available to purchase on site.
All rides, attractions and other facilities must be used in accordance with the operator’s instructions. The use of these facilities is entirely at your own risk.
We reserve the right to offer ticket discounts/promotions at our discretion.
As a ticket holder, you are consenting to photography and filming by the official photographers during the event. These images can be used by event organiser and their partners for promotional and publicity purposes.
Aside from the official event photographers, photography and filming on site is only allowed for the personal, non-profit making use of amateurs. Commercial or editorial photography is prohibited without prior permission. Accreditation must be requested from our press office in advance. Amateur photography groups must also request accreditation in advance of arriving on site.
Public safety remains the top priority for us and security will be in place throughout the event. We ask for the patience and cooperation of anyone coming to the event and that they allow extra time to pass through security and bag searches.
Visitors may be refused admission or ejected from the event if, in the reasonable opinion of the event staff, the visitor is a risk to the safety of any other visitor and may affect the enjoyment of other visitors. Examples include, but are not limited to, being (or appearing to be) drunk, incapable, intoxicated or under the influence of illegal drugs, abusive, threatening, behaving anti-socially, carrying offensive weapons or illegal substances, declining to be searched or in breach of any of these terms and conditions.
